Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is Arkadiusz Guziński. For any matter concerning personal data, write to a.guzinski@outlook.com.

Contact form and email

When you send a message through the form or by email, I process the data you provide: your name, email address, the selected topic and the content of your message.

  • Purpose: replying to your message and any further correspondence about it.
  • Legal basis: my legitimate interest in replying to messages sent to me (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, when you ask about working together, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Retention: until the correspondence ends, and afterwards no longer than the period in which related claims may arise.

Providing your data is voluntary, but I cannot reply without an email address.

Form messages are delivered by Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA), which acts on my behalf. Data transferred outside the European Economic Area is protected by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, in particular the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Comments under articles

Comments are powered by Giscus and stored on GitHub (GitHub, Inc., USA). To comment, you sign in with a GitHub account; your comment, username and profile picture are visible publicly. GitHub processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can delete your comment at any time or ask me to remove it.

YouTube videos

Some articles contain YouTube videos embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Until you play a video, YouTube does not set tracking cookies. Once you play it, Google processes data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and browser storage

This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising. The only thing saved in your browser’s storage (localStorage) is the theme you choose: light or dark. This never leaves your device, and you can remove it by clearing the site’s data in your browser.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which also runs the domain’s DNS. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical connection details, such as your IP address and the time of your visit, to keep the site secure and running. Any transfer of this data outside the European Economic Area is protected by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted, to data portability, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to the address above.

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl).

Changes

If the way this site processes data changes, I will update this policy and the date at the top.
